The Nutritional Gap on Our Plates

Riddle me this:

What gets wetter the more it dries?

A towel! …

I’m sure you’ve heard that one before.

Here’s a harder one:

What gets less useful the more we use it?

Our soil.

Over the last 50 years, the nutrients in our soils have depleted.

Today, you would have to eat eight oranges to derive the same amount of Vitamin A as our grandparents would have gotten from just one...

When it comes to other vegetables it gets even worse. Scientists have estimated that you would need to eat 40 (yes FORTY) bowls of spinach to gain the equivalent nutritional value that just one serving provided back in the 1940s.

Modern day farming practices have adapted to feed a booming population…

Unfortunately, this has come at the expense of the nutrients in our topsoil, meaning food doesn’t have nearly as much nutrients as it once did.

This means that gradually, our bodies become more and more deficient in vital nutrients that we need in order to fight inflammation, viruses, and harmful bacteria.

Experts in the mental health field Professor like Julia J. Rucklidge and Bonnie J. Kaplan have made significant discoveries that *micronutrient deficiencies are largely the cause of the mental health crisis many people are facing today.

For those over the age of 55, one way this nutritional gap most commonly affects us is in our joint health, diminishing people’s lifestyle just as they hit their golden years.

Furthermore, reducing people’s mobility can affect weight management, cardiovascular health, heart health, and mental health – so it’s an issue that must be supported.

How can I change my nutrient deficiency?

Health supplements have boomed in recent years as scientists have begun to string together the vital nutrients our food is lacking into easy to take supplements.

Unfortunately, this booming industry is riddled with huge companies selling synthetic chemicals, cheap and weak formulas with big promises and lacklustre results.

How can I find the right ones that work?

When it comes to health supplements, specifically joint health supplements, you’re really looking for high quality, high strength targeted nutrition.

Find and try supplements that are ‘Formula first’ in order to achieve this…

Formula first supplement’s mean that the company making the formula ‘pulls no punches’ when it comes to using ingredients that are of the highest quality, generating consistent support, and have the lowest risk of nasty side effects.

Think of buying ‘formula first’ supplements like buying high quality walking shoes that give you the support and protection you need…

… Versus buying walking shoes that give you blisters and lead to rolled ankles and sore feet.

If we use cheap & weak formulas and products with lower quality nutrients, we receive less support – checking the reviews on websites and reading about the ingredients used is always a good indicator!

By choosing formula first supplements, you may pay a little more up front, but the difference in results often leaves you more supported and more mobile, which we now know is coming from our nutrient weak diets.

If you’re looking to close your nutrient gap and get all the nutrients you’re missing in one daily hit, then Koru Joint may be the perfect place for you to start.
